Web Technologies refers to the way computers /devices communicate with each other with using markup languages.

Its involves communication across the web and creates, deliver and manage web content using Html( Hypertext markup language).

It is said to have brought into small village where people and devices can communicate/ connected with each other very easily without obstruction.

Web Application have become more powerful and can fully replace desktop application in most situation, that why you need to now basic Web Programming, including HTML,CSS, Java script.
To create more powerful websites and web application's you also need to know about Web server,Database system and web frameworks like PHP, ASP,.NET,etc.

.WWW has allowed for the access of information that would have been impossible to find or may have been to difficult to find www. 


WEB BROWSERS

Web Browsers, often just called browsers, make it possible for us to view the resources that are the part of world wide web. 
They are based on a client- server architecture. The client is the browser in this scenario. You can think the server as a combination of software and Hardware that receives the clients requests and then send the requested resources to the client.


When ever you enter a URL into a browsers address bar , it relays your request to the servers and then fetches  and displays whatever  the requested for. 

Some popular web browsers
are OPERA ,GOOGLE CHROME, FIREFOX & SAFARI.

Notecible examples are like amazon.com,google.com, etc. All publicly websites collectively constitute the www (World Wide Web).There are also private websites can only accessed on a private network.  Hyper linking between web pages guides the navigation of sites, which often starts with home page.
